Does the warrenty on Strider blades apply to the blades themselves or to the original owner? I was recently asked if I would compare an individuals WB with a couple of the Busse Combat blades I have, basically duplicating the work I did in the reviews of the Busse Combat blades. I don't have a problem with doing this, however the scope of work does include some fairly high stress tasks, prying, hard impacts and such, and I don't want to risk leaving this individual without a blade. For reference the review of the Busse Basic : http://www.physics.mun.ca:80/~sstamp/knives/busse_basic.html And of the Busse Battle Mistress (not finished yet) : http://www.physics.mun.ca:80/~sstamp/knives/busse_bm.html -Cliff IP: Logged |

Hey there Mr Cliff,Our guarantee covers the blade, not the owner. If the person in question wants to give you their blade for testing, we certainly have no problems with it. Let us know how we do. Mick, Duane and Cormac IP: Logged |

Strider guys,Are you familiar with Cliff's work? I think he eats knives for breakfast. I've never met him but in my mind he's 8 feet tall and weighs 450 pounds. Like a modern day John Henry. Do I worry for the Strider knife? Nope. Confident, you bet. An employee of Strider Knives, nope, just a fan. Brian_T brianthornburg@home.com IP: Logged |
